Yesterday the Laker Navy took some time away from the ergs to hold a 50 minute sledding workout. The team was encouraged to make a contraption worthy of sliding down the hill behind the boathouse. The contraptions build by the rowers mainly comprised of pizza boxes, plastic trash bags, and also one dining room chair. Fun was had by all member of the crew as snowball fights eventually broke out among the ranks. In addition, a special appearance was made by the Jamaican bobsled team (as pictured above) in their last run after briefly coming out of the retirement. The team will resume practice tomorrow as well as classes, stay warm, have fun, and as always keep pulling for the Laker Navy.
